Valentine's and Mardi Gras for February
Well, happy new year everyone! In comes February, and with it comes time again for masks and masquerading.
Valentine's Day is coming up on the 14th and, though it's not such a masky type holiday, it does lend itself to sexy costumes, Cupid wings & arrows, and shiny little hearts a plenty.
But one holiday we do especially look forward to here at the costume shop is Mardi Gras. And Mardi Gras falls on February 21 for 2012. Mardi Gras is a great festive break during the dreariness that can descend upon us here in NYC in late winter. So, with no further ado, here is a sampling of some Mardi Gras goods we've got in the shop:
Lots of beads, and quite a variety! Your usual purple, green, and gold, and then some! More beads and masks are coming in quickly. Fat Tuesday will be upon us in no time at all!
